Superior Tanker Shuttle Accreditation

The EVFD is proud to have Superior Tanker Shuttle Accreditation. This is a program of the Fire Underwriters Survey that recognizes a rural fire department’s ability to supply water to a fire scene in sufficient volume equivalent to a hydrant water supply. This enhanced service is provided when a fire department is able to demonstrate through testing and documentation that it can “shuttle” water to a fire scene by way of tanker trucks. This accredidation allows residents a reduction in annual fire insurance premiums. Check with your insurance provider to ensure you receiving a reduced premium.
